I met Stephen Cavalier one afternoon in Piccadilly. Would I like to work on his ipad game? Yes, I would! He had an amazing idea worked out for a game/book/animation combo about a pair of elderly inventors. He wanted me to help develop and animate the characters and design the mini game screens hidden in the story. Not only was the project brilliant but we were, I learned, to work in the Gamesys office overlooking Eros himself. We were joined by Dani Devereux a matte painter. I’d never met one before and she turned out to be outrageously talented and funny with it. The game was coded by the enormously brained Mark Ripley from Fluffipup.
